We were proud to invite high school students for speed mentoring sessions with professionals from gaming, startups, IT, research, software engineering, and innovation communities to discuss possibilities for their future and work prospects in the new digital society. These sessions took place at Lycée Bel-Val and were preceded by an inspiring speech by Minister Taina Bofferding on gender equality in the fields of digital.

During the mentoring sessions, professionals joined the conversations between 50 young students to advise and coach the topics of digital professions and opportunities offered by the evolution of technology. The idea was to break the stereotypes showing that design, development, management in the IT industry is for everyone and offer great possibilities for work.

In addition to the mentoring sessions with professionals, Morgane Lainard, game designer at CCCP held a keynote on game designing and how to overcome gatekeeping. Krassimira Bogdanova, working at the European Commission in the field of cybersecurity, held an interesting speech on IT security.

This part of the event was not open to the public but you can still contact us if you are interested in becoming a mentor for other projects.
