The afternoon session started with a welcome speech by Minister Taina Bofferding (Ministère de l’Egalité entre les femmes et les hommes). This was followed by an interesting speech from The Minister of Economy, Claude Meisch. The startup pitching session started afterwards, followed by a panel discussion.
The aim of the conference was to present a dynamic and diverse angle on the tech industry, with its inclusive and wide scope of opportunities. The conference focused on showcasing talented women startupers from the local scene. Their pitches emphasized the great possibilities that are awaiting the courageous young people who dare to start their own business. This part was followed by panel discussions between students, startupers, and ministers which consisted in exchanging ideas, thoughts, and challenges of this new digitalized world.
Finally, to close the conference, the Ministère de l’Egalité entre les femmes et les hommes held a final speech, succeeded by a networking session.
The conference was open to the public and was followed by a networking session with experts and mentors present, to encourage young people to inquire and investigate on their fields and expertise.
